About Early Mornin’ Headache
… I think most of us have been here once or
twice. Maybe in college or High School… maybe last night.
You know that sinking feeling “ … is there anyone I
need to apologize to?” Brian put into words these all too
common feelings and brought this song to the band several years
ago. It was in fact one of the first original compositions TOLEDO
KESCH ever performed in public. Some blistering guitar chops by
Danny round out this tune about indulgence and the price to be paid
for it.
EARLY MORNIN’ HEADACHE
Music and Lyrics by Brian Crandall
Lead Vocal by Brian Crandall
It’s early mornin’
Just out of bed
Whoa, it’s Saturday mornin’
And I sure feel my head
I looked around
And from the looks of things
There must have been a party
And everybody musta got down
Bottles of beer
Spilled everywhere
People sho’ got crazy
And nobody even cared
It’s such an eyesore
Oh, what a wreck
Enough to give any human
An early mornin’ headache
Feelin’ better
As the day rolls along
People came and gone
Just to maintain that special fog
It’s early mornin’
I’m just out of bed
And the first thing I do when I get up in the mornin’
Is the early mornin’ headache song
