About Slow Down Jeffrey

… Another tune that came about by jamming with each other until over the course of a few rehearsals the music and arrangement were finalized. The lyrics were inspired by a good friend of the band, but also written as a caution to oneself about rushing in to a situation too quickly. The Latin style break before the solo was a beautiful bit of inspiration by Danny who thought (correctly) that a change of pace was called for stylistically. One of the only songs on the record recorded entirely at Ground (The Pressure Cooker) Zero, it is also the first song written collectively by the band.
